When should we call a lawyer?

You should give us a call as soon as your issue arises.

Do you charge a consultation fee?

Yes, consultation fees are applicable in all cases except personal injuries. However, in some instances, the fee may be waived.

Are there any out of pocket expenses?

Some out of pocket expenses may occur depending on the case that is being handled. For further questions about the costs of your case, contact us.

Who will work on my case?

Attorney Nicole Walker will work your case.

How long will my case take?

The length of a case, from the initial consultation through to the resolution of the case by settlement or jury verdict, depends on several variables, so it is not possible to say exactly how long a case may take.

Do all cases go to trial?

No, in fact, most cases settle before they reach the trial stage.

How will I be kept informed about my case?

The Law Office of Nicole N. Walker takes pride in being transparent and having an open line of communication with clients. At the outset of our representation, you will be provided with contact information for the firm. We will routinely keep you informed of significant developments in your case. We also encourage you to contact us by phone or e-mail at any time with questions and we will promptly reply.

How should I pay my retainer, flat fee, or other fees?

We accept cash, check, and credit cards.

What is a retainer fee?

Retainer is a typical fee charged by an attorney at the outset of your case. The funds are not immediately the attorneys. They are placed in trust until work has been performed on your case. Once work is performed, the attorney may invoice against those funds. 

NOTE: Some services are flat fee which differs.
